In Core RMPS, from S1-S4, pupils develop an understanding of the world around them through exploring a range of world religions, moral issues and philosophical questions. Through this wide variety of topics pupils are able to promote many integral skills: literacy, critical thinking, communication, problem solving and group work.

National 5 RMPS pupils will study three units, ‘Islam’, ‘Religion & Conflict’ and ‘Existence of God’, as well as an individual research assignment.

Higher pupils visited Kagyu Samye Ling in the Scottish Borders.

Higher RMPS pupils will study three units, ‘Buddhism’, ‘Religion & Relationships’ and ‘Origins’, as well as an individual research assignment. Higher pupils visited the Kagyu Samye Ling Buddhist temple [as pictured]. During this trip pupils were given a tour around the temple and a guided session of meditation.
